The Urban drawings were spontaneous scribbles from scenes around London 1996 - 2001. The drawings were used to capture the feel of the moment - usually featuring people in modes of 'non-purposeful function', e.g. waiting for trains, hanging round in bars or coffee shops, playing in parks, walking along the river.
