Weebles wobble but they don't fall down?

The weebles were created in 1998 from spontaneous drawings of people in 'non-purposeful function' (see the Urban drawings in illustration).The bases are cast concrete and the figures aluminium flat bar.

There are 11 figures in various poses, the underlying concept was based on the idea of identity in a crowd - although the lines of the figures become lost and muddled, you can make out the individual characters if you focus your gaze - people watching.

This project led to a commission in Covent Garden, the following figures are in a safe home near Oxford.
